The Bradford Group was founded to assist clients with government relations and lobbying representation in the Rhode Island General Assembly. Since then, the firm has expanded its services to include issues management, advocacy campaigns, new business development, federal lobbying and appropriations work, and business consulting. Our client list includes major local and national companies, trade groups, nonprofit organizations, entrepreneurs, and non-government organizations that seek to gain a competitive advantage or enhance opportunities through effective advocacy and guidance.

Our work has brought us to states throughout the country, but our focus and core competency remains in Rhode Island. Our principals are Rhode Island natives who have worked in the state for decades and have deep relationships in state government, government agencies, and with business and nonprofit organizations. We take a long view in our work, nurturing relationships from the very top of state government, as well as spending time and building relationships with individuals at all rungs of the government ladder.

The operating philosophy of the Bradford Group is to provide clients with a full range of integrated marketing and governmental affairs services targeted to strategic objectives.  We work quietly and efficiently with government officials, as well as business, civic, state and national leaders.  Our governmental affairs practice provides representation to national interests in areas such as taxation, finance, environmental regulation, and public advocacy.  We also provide comprehensive representation to many Rhode Island-based organizations in the areas of health care, human services, higher education, construction/engineering, and financial services.

At the Bradford Group, we work with our clients to ensure long-term, sustainable access to the key individuals impacting their businesses. This hands-on approach provides our clients with a better understanding of government, allowing them to achieve their organizational goals.
